MEET ALINA KOPELCHUK
I have been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over 20 years and a full-time yoga teacher for 9 years. Experiencing the transformative effects of yoga in my own life has fueled my passion to support my students on their journey to finding inner balance and peace. I am particularly interested in the therapeutic application of yoga and view any asana practice—whether vigorous or gentle—as a moving meditation. I integrate a variety of movement, breath, and meditation techniques to help each student discover their unique expression of yoga, encouraging them to practice with mindfulness and self-compassion. My Dynamic Flow class is a much-needed break from the stress and speed of day to day life. Grab a mat, don’t forget your water bottle, and relax into a strong, but soothing sequence that will leave you feeling centred and renewed.
ALIGNMENT & FLOW
Alignment & Flow Hatha class pushes you to dive deeper into your practice. The focus is on alignment and breath, and a special emphasis on proper technique helps you refine your form.
FLOW, YIN AND MEDITATION
Flow, Yin and Meditation is perfect for students looking for a meaningful mind-body-spirit experience on the mat. Get ready to move with breath and body awareness, strengthen your body and go into deep stretches and longer holds. This class usually ends with a formal meditation practice.
PRIVATE ONE-TO-ONE YOGA
Honouring the traditional method of teaching, this is an ideal space to develop and deepen your practice. Each class is tailored to meet your specific goals, needs and takes into account your individual abilities.
